From Newark Liberty International Airport

For those flying in for the conference, Newark Liberty International Airport is the closest to New Brunswick. From the airport, one has the choice of traveling by car or public transportation.

If you choose to rent a car, follow signs from the airport to the New Jersey Turnpike south. (I-95s) Proceed on the Turnpike south until Exit 9. Follow directions from Exit 9 in the NJ Turnpike instructions at the top of this page. In normal traffic conditions it will take approximately 35 minutes to drive to New Brunswick from the airport.

As with any airport, taxis and Uber-type services are also available. The distance to New Brunswick is 26 miles, but we are unable to provide any cost information.

If you choose public transportation, a connection service called AirTrain runs from the various airport terminals to the Newark Airport Rail Station, where one can catch a New Jersey Transit train that stops in New Brunswick. Here is a link: https://www.newarkairport.com/to-from-airport/air-train

Assuming that out-of-town attendees will be staying at a hotel the night before, keep in mind that upon arrival in New Brunswick one would need to arrange for taxi/Uber/other transportation from the station to your hotel, from the hotel to the conference site the next morning, and from the conference back to the hotel or New Brunswick train station afterwards.
